WHAT: 11/11/11~ Good Deed Flash Mob / "Awakening the Soul" Qi Gong Wave / Benefit for HAAM
Open to all. Meet at the Zilker Park Polo Grounds picnic area. We will practice several rounds of Awakening the Soul (an 8 part Qi Gong series that can be practiced in a chair or standing). You
don't need to attend classes to participate in the event, but many free
1-hour classes are available all over Austin up until the event (class
calendar at www.awakensoul.org). Music will be playing, including several versions of John Lennon's "Imagine." The four directions (East, South, West and North) will be marked with colored flags. Each participant will pick a direction and stand behind that flag, wearing the color of that direction. We will practice
several rounds of Awakening the Soul, a qi gong series taught by the
school of Sheng Zhen, which means Unconditional Love.
WHEN: 11/11/11~Friday at 11:00 a.m.. (come early, carpool, walk, bike, bus)
WHERE: Zilker Park~Polo Grounds Picnic Area, Austin, Texas (see map on website, click on the flower)
WHY: To benefit HAAM, and create a loving gift for Austin community to come together to celebrate gratitude and joy!
