The Scooter Pearce Band ~ Live!!!

Spring is blossoming all around us, the grass is sprinkled with Bluebonnets,  and it's time to have some fun. On today's show we are doing a live CD recording with The Scooter Pearce band. We have an hour, and it's going to be delicious. Scooter is a friend of mine, and a local Austin musician. Beyond being a charismatic performer, she is a genuinely beautiful human being, and I'm honored to be able to share her and her music with you today. Scooter started performing in 1991, playing Country, Southern Rock and Blues. In 1996, she began including her original music. She currently plays hundreds of venues - Honky Tonks, Wineries, Clubs, Restaurants, Private & Corporate events. As well as the Texas Hill Country music circuit. Scooter travels and plays all over Texas and the Continental United States.

Mary Kraemer ~ Rosa Milagrosa Therapeutic Horticulture

One of my delights in producing this show is the opportunity for me to bring in local practitioners and healers so you can have a chance to meet them, hear what they do  and get to know them a bit. Today I want to share a delightful woman with you all who uses plants for healing, but not in the herbal sense. She is Mary Kraemer of Rosa Milagrosa Therapeutic Horticulture. Her therapeutic horticulture program  uses plants as a medium for human well-being. Mary uses this plant therapy as a form of rehabilitative care via various horticulture and gardening activities.She believes in creating what you can, with what you have, where you are. She recently did a workshop making flower-mandalas, at Alma de Mujer, here are a few pictures of what the Mandalas looked like. How beautiful is this
